Golf physiotherapy
Your swing is only as good as your body.
A one-hour, golf-specific physical assessment with a physiotherapist. What your body actually does, how that limits your swing, and the plan to fix it.
TPI CertifiedMedical Level 2
The club can be fitted to you. Your body has to be trained to swing it.
More distance
From rotation you actually have, not from swinging harder.
Less pain
Low back, hips, shoulders and elbows: the four that end rounds early.
More seasons
A body that holds up round after round, year after year.
What TPI is
There is no correct swing. There is a correct swing for you.
The Titleist Performance Institute has studied thousands of golfers since 2003, from tour professionals to weekend players, asking one question: how does the way your body moves change the way you swing. What they found runs against most golf instruction. There is no single correct swing. There is one efficient swing for every player, and it is set by what that player's body can physically do.
Which means the screen has to come before the fix. Not a video of your swing, a look at the body producing it.

What the hour looks like
-
01The screen
A structured series of movement tests covering mobility, stability, balance and power. Each one maps to a specific part of the swing.
-
02The findings
Which restrictions are showing up in your swing and which ones are just noise, in plain language. You will understand the connection, not take it on faith.
-
03Priorities
Two or three things that matter, in order, and what can wait until the off-season.
-
04Your program
Short enough to fit between rounds. Written down before you leave.
The hour is assessment and planning. If treatment is the right next step, that starts at a follow-up visit.
Who books this
Distance is going
You are swinging as hard as ever and the ball is going shorter. More often a mobility or power problem than an effort problem.
Something hurts
Back, hip, shoulder or elbow pain during a round or the next morning. If it keeps coming back, it is worth finding out why.
The same fix won't stick
Your coach keeps giving you the same correction and your body keeps undoing it. That is often a physical limit, not a technique problem.
You do not need to be injured, and you do not need a handicap. Golfers at every level book this.
It's physiotherapy, not a lesson.
TPI certifies in five separate fields: Golf, Medical, Fitness, Power and Junior Development. Colby is certified in the Medical track at Level 2, which means the person screening you is also a licensed physiotherapist. If the screen finds something that needs treating, you are already in the right place. No referral, no starting over somewhere else.
It also changes what you pay. This is billed as a full-hour physiotherapy appointment, not a coaching session, so most extended health plans cover it. We direct bill, so many golfers pay only a portion at the desk.
$180Full hour · Direct billed to most extended health plans
If you need follow-up treatment, it is a normal physiotherapy visit at our standard rate of $105. No golf package, no block of sessions to buy.
Before you book
- Is this a swing lesson?
- No, and it is not a replacement for one. Your coach works on what you do with the club. This works on what your body can give them to work with. The two go together.
- What should I wear?
- Clothes you can move in. You will be doing squats, rotations and reaching overhead, so nothing restrictive.
- Do I need to bring my clubs?
- No. The screen is done off the course and off the mat.
- Do I need a referral?
- No. Book online or call. We direct bill most extended health plans.
